01Frequently asked
01How do I install an asset after buying?Setup
Every product ships as a Webflow clone. After checkout you get a clone link and a short setup note. Open the link, clone it into your workspace, and follow the numbered checklist inside the read-me page — most buyers are running in under 15 minutes.
02Do I need a paid Webflow plan to use these?Setup
SideQuest Base works on any plan, including the free one. Studio Site Kit and Editorial Engine use CMS collections, so you'll need a CMS plan (or higher) on the site you publish to.
03Can I customise the design, or am I locked in?Usage
Fully customisable — that's the point. Tokens, components and CMS structure are native Webflow, so you can restyle, rename and extend everything. Nothing is hidden in custom code embeds you can't touch.
04Do the products work together?Usage
Yes. SideQuest Base is the token foundation the other two are built on. Studio Site Kit drops onto it directly, and Editorial Engine assumes the same variable naming. Bought separately they still work standalone.
05What does the license allow?Licensing
One license covers unlimited use on sites you own or build for clients — personal projects, client work, commercial sites. You can't resell or redistribute the assets themselves, as templates or otherwise, modified or not.
06Can I use one purchase across multiple client projects?Licensing
Yes. A single purchase covers you (or your studio) across unlimited projects. Only the resale or sharing of the source clone itself is off-limits.
07Do I get updates?Licensing
Yes — lifetime updates for the major version you bought. When a product is revised you get a fresh clone link at no cost.
08What if I get stuck during setup?Support
Use the form below — every purchase includes email support for setup questions. Pre-purchase questions are welcome too; we usually reply within one business day.
